This is a large aperture manual focus lens for Canon RF mount, compatible with 35mm full-frame sensors. It was showcased at CP+2024.
Optical Design
The lens configuration consists of 7 elements in 6 groups, adopting a design optimized for the image sensor of Canon EOS R system cameras. It enables high-quality photography.
Enhanced Operability
The focus ring features a diamond pattern knurling that provides excellent grip, ensuring stable operability. This is particularly beneficial when attaching focus gears for video shooting. Additionally, it employs a high-precision metal helicoid for precise focus adjustments, offering smooth operation with the application of grease.
Aperture Ring Features
The aperture ring cannot be operated from the camera body and must be set directly on the lens. It also features a mechanism to toggle the click sound on or off, allowing users to adjust the feel according to shooting environment and preference.
