Tamron Co. announces the interchangeable lens '28-75mm F/2.8 Di III VXD G2 (Model A063)' for Nikon Z mount. Release date is April 18, 2024. Suggested retail price is 143,000 yen (including tax).
Outstanding Imaging Power and Bokeh Effect
The '28-75mm F/2.8 Di III VXD G2' employs a lens configuration of 15 groups and 17 elements, effectively suppressing various aberrations by optimally positioning low dispersion and hybrid aspherical lenses. It achieves high resolution across the entire zoom range from maximum aperture.
Additionally, the use of a 9-blade circular aperture creates a beautiful bokeh effect. The minimum focusing distance is 0.18m at the wide-angle end and 0.39m at the telephoto end, with a maximum magnification ratio of 1:4.6. The filter diameter is 67mm.
Advanced High-Performance AF and Improved Usability
The AF drive adopts the VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor focus mechanism, which combines high speed, high precision, and quietness. It is ideal for both still and video shooting in quiet environments. Furthermore, the lens barrel is equipped with a USB Type-C connector, allowing customization of various functions via 'TAMRON Lens Utility' when connected to a PC.
The lens features a moisture-resistant construction and a dirt-resistant coating, and comes with a petal-shaped lens hood.
