Nature, Art in Its Purest Form
Nature itself contains information beyond human understanding through the rhythm of life, shapes, textures, and changes. The photos we capture through the camera are truly art created by nature itself. Let's cherish the beautiful nature of this planet, even down to a single fallen leaf.
This time, we introduce creators who capture nature from their unique perspectives, inspired by its beauty.

Q. What do you focus on when creating or taking photos?
I change the composition and F-value depending on what I'm shooting to highlight what I want to capture. For food, I aim to capture moments that make you want to eat it, and for landscapes, moments that make you feel like you're there.

Q. What do you focus on when creating or taking photos?
The subject is 'mountains'. I mainly use a SONY α7Ⅳ with a GM 24-70mm F2.8 digital camera and a Nikon FM3A film camera. For me, photography is about encountering landscapes, so I don't often wait long for a shutter chance with classic compositions. Instead, I naturally capture landscapes encountered during travels. I avoid heavy retouching, aiming for natural retouching that conveys the scenery as seen.

Q. What do you focus on when creating or taking photos?
Equipment: Nikon Z50, a compact APS-C sensor camera. When deciding to purchase, I looked for a camera that I could easily carry every day, even to university. It's perfect for capturing daily life, and I love it. Subject & Shutter Moment: I want to capture moments that make me think 'Wow, Japan is amazing!' For example, when a shrine suddenly appears while walking in the city, or when Tokyo Skytree peeks into the everyday scenery. Composition & Awareness: I always consider the composition and overall balance of the photo, but I especially value the blend or contrast of the main and sub-themes. I will continue to strive to convey what I find beautiful in a single photo.

Leaving a Legacy of Stunning Views

Q. What do you focus on when creating or taking photos?
The most important aspect of taking photos for me is composition. I focus on how to convey the emotion I felt when I saw the scene with my own eyes, and I value the concept of 'subtraction', ensuring not to include more than necessary in the frame.
