Western Digital Corporation has announced the UHS-I compatible SD card 'SanDisk Ultra PLUS' under the SanDisk brand. Sales begin on July 7, 2023, for 64GB/128GB/256GB, and on July 14, 2023, for 512GB, with prices set at 3,080 yen, 4,840 yen, 8,690 yen, and 16,280 yen (all tax included) respectively.
The maximum read speed has been accelerated from the previous 130MB/s to 160MB/s.
'SanDisk Ultra PLUS' supports video speed class 10 (V10) and UHS speed class 1 (U1), making it suitable for full HD video recording, and allows for smooth video shooting. Additionally, it uses SanDisk's unique technology to enable fast transfer of numerous photos and full HD videos to a PC.
