Shoten Kogyo Co., Ltd. will release the SHOTEN brand mount adapters 'M42-LM R50' and 'PK-LM R50' on July 7, 2023. Both are priced at 28,000 yen (tax included).
This is a rangefinder-coupled M mount adapter, allowing rangefinder-coupled shooting with Leica M mount cameras when combined with a 50mm focal length lens. Available in two types: for M42 (with aperture coupling pin push function) and for Pentax K (not compatible with DA lenses).
For rangefinder-coupled shooting, set the lens focus ring to infinity and focus using the adapter's focus ring. For live view shooting, use the helicoid on the adapter for close-up photography.
