Fujifilm Corporation announced the launch of a new app 'FUJIFILM XApp' for the digital camera 'GFX/X Series' starting May 25, 2023.
'FUJIFILM XApp' connects the 'GFX/X Series' with smartphones and tablets, allowing remote camera operation and image reception and viewing. It significantly improves usability by enhancing the stability and speed of wireless communication compared to the previous app 'FUJIFILM Camera Remote', enabling smoother image transfer from the camera.

Simple Operation and High Convenience
'FUJIFILM XApp' not only allows smoother image transfer to smartphones and tablets due to enhanced wireless stability and speed, but also completes all communication operations on the smartphone or tablet, except for the initial pairing. This enables simpler and more convenient operation.
You can remotely operate the camera while checking the rear monitor image on your smartphone or tablet. Additionally, the newly added 'Settings Save/Load Function' allows you to save camera settings such as shooting menus and setup menus within the app and quickly change to your preferred settings by loading them from the camera.
A New Way to Enjoy Photography
New features such as the 'Timeline Function', which allows you to enjoy a photo diary, and the 'Activity Function', which automatically aggregates and displays the number of shots taken and the number of times film simulations have been used, provide a new way to enjoy photography by reflecting on your shooting activities with photos and data.
