Mission
Often, the reason we can continue something we started casually for many years is not something grandiose, but rather small things that might seem insignificant to others. These small yet meaningful encounters can lead our lives in a better direction. At cizucu, under the slogan 'Inspire Your (Photo) Creativity,' we strive to support creators by stimulating inspiration and continuously fostering a love for photography. This time, we are hosting a contest to ask you, our great motivation, about your 'Reasons for Continuing Photography.' We are also welcoming Mr. Makoto Hashimuki, who has been capturing and sharing the allure of Mount Fuji both domestically and internationally for over a decade, as a curator. Some may continue for the joy of expression, while others may find communication through photography as their reason. We aim to listen attentively to these diverse reasons, support them, and connect them to the development of our service. In your caption, please include your reasons for continuing photography. Select a special photo that holds meaning in your photography life, such as a 'photo that became your reason to continue' or a 'photo that introduced you to the joy of photography,' and submit it to the contest. This contest is a declaration of our intention to continue to support all creators involved with cizucu. It might be a challenging theme, but we look forward to hearing from you! ■ Curator Makoto Hashimuki Born in 1977 in Shizuoka Prefecture.
